I do not recall exactly when I "discovered" woodworking - maybe woodworking discovered me. Regardless these grains blow me away.

An educated prediction: Cane #88 is going to make a SPECK-TACK-YOU-LURR cane for someone some day.

I agree, both of those sticks are absolutely beautiful. They're going to make wonderful canes for somebody one day. I can already see the vivid colors popping when you apply the finish.

I'm beginning to believe that the 2nd cane would rather be one of those whirli-gigs or "wind spirals" - maybe I could just stick it in the ground and watch it spin.
