Had this 25 gallon oil drum in the barn thought it might make a good display for my walking sticks when I go to the arts and craft show Sept. 19.

they are handy for storage , but be careful as to many sticks in it will spoil the display better to give the individual stick more visual each impact which should help to sell them

Makes a good holder Randy. I agree with cobalt on display. Maybe use two. Also I have found that over time the edge of those type of containers will ware on the finish. I used that foam cold weather pipe rap. It will slip right over the edge and protect your sticks.

I have my sticks in a small wooden barrel. I had finished it, making sure the edge was smooth. But over time I could see signs of ware. None sense I used the insulating.

Looks good Randy. Good advice given as well. You've been making some great rustic looking canes and sticks. I hope you do well with your sales at the show. All you need now is a bit better camera.
