Also in the "retired" mode.

Hung up the hard hat last July after 35 years in the industrial insulation trade. I sure was glad I didn't have to go out this winter and clean the snow off the truck, drive an hour to a refinery, chemical plant or such and then work outside insulating frozen pipes and equipment that the owner should have winterized in Sept! Not really complaining too awful much it was a good living, paid all the bills, raised the kids and the pension check each month is nice!

After 35 years of getting up and going everyday that portion of my persona will not go away, I always feel I should be doing something. Stick making was a hobby before, its become "my job" now, LOL!

I have hauled the folding saw along on previous vacations, will now haul the "carving box" along when we head to the mountains this summer.

Rockies in summer Rad. Probably Montana, Idaho, Wyoming area.

We did the Blue Ridge Parkway drive in October of last year, was a great drive albeit a bit of a drag til the gov't shutdown got over with and the National Park and National Forest campgrounds opened up again. Though on the plus side we did find some nice state parks in TN we would not have visited if the fed gov't had not shut down the National Parks and Forests.
