I sell on Etsy and on my own little website Kentucky Walking Sticks however google has my website way down in the mud where no one would ever find it. Sales have been really good on Etsy. Any suggestions to improve my google ranking? Do any of you guys sell on your own website? If so, how did you improve your ranking? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, I don't use my own website. I just sell on Etsy.

All I can say is study search engine optimization (SEO) for google and other search engines and see if that will boost your ranking. It could be a case where you have to pay to boost your rankings too.

I know I've found you on Google before in searches and I've recently seen you on Etsy. But then, I tend to look a little harder than casual searchers I think. I tend to go back several pages on my searches.

I'm not sure if it will help or not but take a look at what your competition is doing too.

I just use them for walking with, create a good topic of conversation and people ask if I sell them.

I have my own site and have done well over many years but am now trying to get out of the business, for several years now. More interested in doing my own wood working, oil painting, ham radio, writing/research, genealogy, etc.

Still making a few sticks but as I get older, I'm transitioning to other things.
